Seasoned fashion leader Peter Halkett has been appointed as the CEO of Rebecca Vallance, effective January 28.
His appointment comes nine months after he stepped down from the CEO helm at Brankbank Group - the company behind Seed, Commonly and Unison.
Halkett has also been the top boss at Moochi, APG & Co, Kathmandu, Zintel and Pacific Retail Group.
Founder and creative director Rebecca Vallance will continue to lead the brand's creative direction.
“I am happy to welcome Peter Halkett to the Rebecca Vallance family,” Vallance said. “His expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our global presence, while I remain dedicated to crafting the brand vision and designs that resonate with our customers.”
Halkett added: “I am honoured to join this iconic brand and work alongside Rebecca to build upon the brands incredible legacy. Together, we will chart the next chapter of growth and success."
The premium womenswear brand was launched in 2011 by Vallance and has since grown to nine boutiques across Australia and nearly two dozen stockists globally, including Net-A-Porter, David Jones and The Iconic.
Vallance has managed the brand alongside her husband, David Gasan. Fashion management firm Hotsprings - which also oversees P.E Nation - is another key investor in the brand.
