Australian-born women’s fashion label Perfect Stranger has opened its first-ever Victorian store at Melbourne Central in the CBD.
Former Miss Universe Australia Olivia Molly Rogers and Melbourne’s Styled by Boom founder and stylist Paul Versace officially unveiled the brand’s Victorian store and latest collection at an event last week.
"Our Melbourne Central store adds to our 13 bricks and mortar locations across Queensland, New South Wales and now Victoria, and it’s something we are extremely proud of," Universal Store group CEO Alice Barbery said.
“In 2020, in the middle of COVID, we first launched a pop up in Westfield Chermside. Since day one, we continue to focus on ways to perfect the range curation, the shop fit and service promise, keeping a keen eye on delivering affordable trend lead fashion to our customers.
"To now open a store in Melbourne’s CBD, it is especially monumental and a testament to the team’s commitment to the brand.
"Perfect Stranger is actively discussing further roll out opportunities in the country’s best centres across Australia."
The brand is now looking to the West Coast of Australia for new retail locations.
Perfect Stranger is a subsidiary under Universal Store Holdings Limited, which holds over 100 stores nationally, including Thrills and Universal Store.
Perfect Stranger is one of the faster growing brands under Universal Store, which recorded a 59.7 per cent lift in sales for the first half of FY24.
