PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival begins today with the Gala Runway presented by David Jones.
The highly-anticipated runway will be held at the Queen Victoria Market and will feature a curated selection of David Jones' Australian and international designer roster.
Brands presenting include Acler, Aje, Anna Quan, Bassike, Bec + Bridge, Bianca Spender, Camilla, Camilla and Marc, Carla Zampatti, Jac + Jack, Leo Lin, Maticevski, Scanlan Theodore, Shona Joy, Viktoria + Woods, MJ Bale and Politix.
David Jones GM of womenswear and accessories Bridget Veals said the business is excited to welcome the new season pieces into store.
"I am thrilled to see a hand-picked curation of luxury styles from across the globe make their debut on the runway and into David Jones this season," she said.
Models and friends of David Jones including Victoria Lee, Cameron Stephens, Magnolia Maymuru and Tom Derickx will be joined on the runway by special guest Shanina Shaik.
Shaik joins David Jones on the runway for the first time since 2017.
Meanwhile, key David Jones executives including CEO Scott Fyfe and GM of menswear, childrenswear, home and AV Chris Wilson will join Veals at the event.
The Gala Runway will begin at 7pm.
PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival runs from March 03 to 12 2022.
