Melbourne-born essentials brand Paire has opened its first-ever retail store in its origin city, nearly six years after the brand’s inception.
The entire Paire range across men’s, women’s and accessories will be stocked in the new flagship store, located in the QV Melbourne. The brand sells essentials, including its core category of socks, alongside tees, activewear, loungewear and hoodies.
Paire founders Nathan Yun and Rex Zhang called the opening a key milestone for the brand.
“This flagship store is not just a physical space but a manifestation of our journey from a digital-first brand to a tangible presence in the retail world,” Zhang said. “Moreover, we aim to make the Paire offline store a place where our community can hang out, stay, and spend time, making it a true gathering spot for our customers.”
Alongside expanding its ranges and markets, Paire has also lifted revenue over the last five years. The brand made $1 million in its first year of launching, which has since grown to around the same amount per month. In June last year, Paire made $1 million.
The brand has also unveiled a retail space in its South Melbourne headquarters.
“There’s so much news coming out of Paire,” Yun said. “We’re also thrilled to announce our expansion into the Asia market and our South Melbourne store at HQ getting an upgrade.
“These have both been a target for us since launch and we’re thrilled to see it coming to life in 2025.”.
The QV space has been designed by In Addition (previously designed July) with lead designer, Josh McLean, heading up the project.
