Australian luxury label Oroton has opened a new store in Western Australia's Karrinyup Shopping Centre.
The new location is the 21st standalone boutqiue for the label in Australia.
The new store is the first in WA to stock the brand's range of apparel, launched under creative director Sophie Holt, which was showcased at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week.
To celebrate the new boutique, Oroton provided shoppers with bunches of flowers as a complimentary gift with all purchases, a nod to the mood of the seasonal collection, The Optimist.
Speaking on the new collection, Holt said she wanted to incorporate the sense of ease many Aussies are feeling as lockdowns end, into the collection.
"We are all feeling hopeful.
"It felt right to work towards a mood that is lighter, with a new kind of freshness, energy and happiness.
"There is a sense of ease throughout the collection.
"We were thinking about spending an afternoon outside in the garden, how it felt, and as always, colour was our starting point," she said.
As is her signature style, Holt has incorporated new artworks/motifs into the collection, with the spring range featuring motifs including daisies and poppies as well as thistles and matchboxes.
Holt added that now is the time to engage with bright colours and prints.
"We’re still living in an uncertain world, but I think it’s made us more resolved than ever to focus on the positive, to look to the future.
"It’s about embracing colour and whimsy, to wear something special, anything that makes you feel happy.
"I love the idea that we are all starting to feel energised again, that we’re all looking ahead," she said.
Oroton's Karrinyup store is open now and houses The Optimist collection alongside other key styles and products.
