Australian fashion label Cue has been awarded the Hall of Fame award and the Best Online Fashion Retailer award at the 14th annual Australia Post Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAS).

Fashion marketplace Birdsnest took home three awards, including the top award Online Retailer of the Year, Best End to End Customer Experience and Best Multichannel Retailer.

Swimwear label Une Piece took home Best Small Independent Retailer, womenswear brand Esther & Co claimed Best Social Commerce Initiative, designer business Babyboo was crowned International Conquerer, and Kirsten Kore - co-founder of fashion rental business Designerex - was awarded Industry Recognition.

The Australia Post Diversity & Inclusion Impact Award was award to Kmart, while social organisation i=Change scored the Sustainable Impact Award.

Event director Matt Smith congratulated all the winners.

"The ORIAS celebrate the retailing innovators who continuously set new standards of excellence in both online and in-store experiences,” Smith said. “Through their unwavering dedication, passion, and pioneering spirit, they inspire the industry as a whole in an ever evolving, global economy."

Australia Post executive GM in parcel, post and eCommerce services Gary Starr said all 13 of the awarded business play a key role in building Australia’s economic prosperity.

“The calibre of entries in this year’s ORIAS, from businesses of all sizes and scale, is incredible and it’s fantastic to be able to celebrate their success,” Starr said.

The award ceremony was held at the ICC Sydney Grand Ballroom on July 20, and marked the final night of the Online Retailer Conference & Expo.
