Womenswear chain Noni B has boosted its management board with the appointment of a new non-executive director.
The fashion company, responsible for both Noni B and Liz Jordan brands, has welcomed Leo Tutt as an independent non-executive director and chair of the audit and risk management committee of Noni B Limited.
According to the company, Tutt will fill a casual vacancy on the board and has extensive business experience at both executive and directorship level in Australia and the UK, most recently as chairman of Crane Group Limited and as a director of Suncorp-Metway Limited.
Prior chairmanships of ASX listed companies included Promina Group Limited, ITG Limited, Pirelli Cables Limited and MIM Holdings Limited. His UK Directorships included REXHAM PLC (formerly Bowater PLC) and Friends Provident Life Office.
Tutt is also the president of the Meniere's Research Fund Inc. and treasurer of The Women's College within the University of Sydney.
In addition, he is a fellow of each of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants; CPA Australia; Australian Institute of Management and Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an honorary fellow of The University of Sydney.
Commenting on Tutt's appointment, Noni B chairman Joycelyn Morton said Tutt's qualifications and experience will be an asset to the company.

His broad business and financial experience in a wide variety of sectors will bring enormous strength to the board and provide invaluable contribution at this difficult time for the retail sector,” she said.
