Nike Unite has expanded into South Australia, with the launch of a site at Harbour Town Premium Outlets Adelaide.
Nike Unite is a retail specialty concept from the sportwear giant, joining Nike House of Innovation, Nike Rise and Nike Live.
The concept is centred around local communities, according to the brand.
“Nike Unite exists to serve and celebrate the people in each local community, and each store is designed to be a reflection of their heart and spirit.
"Consumers are welcomed by an in-store community wall highlighting the store team and local partnerships, and design elements throughout the space also look to tell the story of the community.
"From local landmarks to hometown athletes, the design allows the local residents to feel represented in the space.
“The products in each Nike Unite door are also reflective of what the community is interested in: locally curated, every-day essentials at the best price, matched with the newness of select seasonal offerings. Additionally, Nike Unite doors reflect Nike’s commitment to hiring people who live in the local community.”
Harbour Town Premium Outlets Adelaide regional marketing manager Tanya Demaria said the centre has been working hard to deliver more premium global brands.
“We are very excited and pleased to be able to now offer this new retail experience to our customers as the demand is certainly there.”
South Australia is set to record the biggest growth in Pre-Christmas sales of the states and territories compared to last year, up 6.6 per cent according to latest Australian Retailers’ Association and Roy Morgan research.
“Shoppers are certainly becoming more value conscious and have discovered they don’t have to pay full price on their favourite brands," Demaria said.
“Our premium outlet retailers offer up to 70 per cent off, design exclusive items for their outlet stores and even stock latest items that are being sold at full price elsewhere.”
