Global athletic brand New Balance has opened a new store concept called the ‘Grey Store’ in Sydney CBD.
Located in the Galeries, it is the first and only iteration of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, where customers can shop all ‘MADE in USA’ and ‘MADE in UK’ collections in person.
Shoppers will receive first access to new collaborations and merchandise drops, with 80% of all product available exclusive to the Galeries Grey Store.
New Balance’s Asia Pacific DTC director Jonathan Clarke said it marks a new chapter for New Balance in Australia.
“The Galeries Grey Store has been designed to provide a high end, luxe retail experience in the heart of Sydney and we can’t wait to see the reception from our loyal fans, sneaker enthusiasts and fashion lovers,” Clarke said.
“As an Australian first, the Galeries Grey store will have all the classic New Balance favourites including the 550’s, 990’s and 2002’s – as well as some of our newer products, like the futuristic WRPD shoe.”
The new Galeries store is located on the ground level.
New Balance employs 8,000 people globally, and has reported worldwide sales of $5.3 billion.
