Athletic retailer New Balance has opened its first UCC concept store in Queensland at the Pacific Fair shopping centre.

This brings the brand’s total UCC store count across Australia to four, which now makes up a total of six full-price stores and 14 outlets in the country.

The new store will feature New Balance’s full range, including classic lifestyle and performance collections, as well as exclusive Made in USA and UK products.

“The opening of our Pacific Fair store is a key step in our ongoing expansion across the region,” New Balance APAC DTC director Jonathan Clark said. “Queensland has always been an important region for us, and we’re thrilled to bring the UCC concept to the Gold Coast.

“This store represents our commitment to delivering unique retail experiences and connecting with more customers across Australia.”

To celebrate the launch, New Balance hosted an exclusive run event in collaboration with local run community Gold Coast Run Co (GCRC).

The event involved 30 runners wear-testing the new SC Trainer v3 along Mermaid Beach. After the run, participants were served pastries from Bam Bam Bakehouse, with live music, back at the New Balance store.
