Global athletics brand New Balance has opened a new UCC store in Melbourne Central, the largest of its kind in Australia.
The store spans 300 square metres, with New Balance noting that the concept caters to both fashion-forward individuals and fitness enthusiasts. It will house the brand’s full range.
The latest addition marks the third UCC concept store in Australia, which now makes up a total of five full-price stores and 14 outlets in the country.
“We are excited to open the doors to the highly-anticipated Melbourne Central store, providing customers with what we believe to be an unprecedented shopping experience and reflection of the New Balance brand,” New Balance APAC DTC director Jonathan Clark said.
“Following the successful opening of our first UCC stores in Bondi and Chadstone - and our first Grey Store in Galeries, Sydney - Melbourne Central is the perfect next step for New Balance, with a larger footprint and product offering for our customers and fans of the brand.”
New Balance plans to open two more stores in the Australian market by the end of 2024.
