Global athletics brand New Balance is expanding its Australian retail footprint with the opening of two new stores in Melbourne and Sydney.
The Melbourne store will open at Highpoint Shopping Centre on November 16, and the Sydney store will open at Broadway Shopping Centre on November 26.
To buoy the openings this month, New Balance will exclusively stock in-demand products at both new retail doors, including the Salehe Bembury 530 collaboration which recently sold out online, and its Up There x 860v2 ‘2000’ collaboration.
The Melbourne store adds to New Balance’s Melbourne Central and Chadstone doors, while in Sydney, the new Broadway store adds to the Bondi Junction and Galeries line-up.
"We know New Balance fans are all across the country, so we're excited to open new stores in two vibrant suburbs across Melbourne and Sydney where sneakerheads can shop the latest styles,” New Balance’s APAC DTC director Jonathan Clark said.
“With exclusive releases like the 530 Salehe Bembury collaboration, we're thrilled to keep bringing fresh, authentic experiences to our growing New Balance community."
Both stores will carry a selection of New Balance’s lifestyle and performance products, including the Fresh Foam and FuelCell running range, as well as athleisure categories.
