Australian streetwear brand Nena and Pasadena (NXP) has been named as an official licensee of the Australian Football League (AFL).

The two-year deal will see NXP create a collection of fan gear that bridges the gap between streetwear and supporter apparel.

NXP will launch supporter streetwear for popular teams Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Hawthorn, Richmond and West Coast Eagles.

CSD Brands (NXP owner) creative director Paul Edwards welcomed the partnership with the AFL.

"As footy fans ourselves, we wanted to develop and design supporter apparel that we felt confident wearing to games and to the pub after a game.

"We know that our NXP customer base is made up of loyal AFL supporters, so we thought it was a natural next step when evolving the Nena and Pasadena brand.

"With AFL being the most popular sporting code in Australia, we couldn’t be more excited to create supporter gear for a sport we’re all passionate about," he said.

The NXP x AFL collection features a range of t-shirts, fleece and outwear items that incorporate the six teams' logos, colours and branding in streetwear style.

The collection is set to launch on the NXP website today, March 31, and will be available in selected Myer stores and The Iconic from April 04.
