Innerwear brand Nala has extended its bra size range, which now includes two new options - B cups and K cups - across two of its more popular styles.

“K cups have been on our radar for a while because we get flooded with DMs and comments requesting them,” Nala co-founder Chloe de Winter said. “We're always listening to customer requests and it ramped up a lot after we launched J cups last year. Our customers wanted more.”

Nala’s Bio Comfort Wirefree Bralette will now come in a K cup size, with an RRP of $59.

As for B cups, de Winter said they are the most common cup sizes for women, so it was a no-brainer to offer more of these.

“We have a lot of products that suit B cups, but these include products like crops and camis,” she said. “Doing our best-selling Support Wirefree Bralette in a B cup just felt like the right next step.”

According to de Winter, product fit and comfort are integral to Nala, which can take a long time to perfect.

“Some people think it's simple to extend the size range, but the design and construction of bras is incredibly technical,” she said. “Once we grade the sizing up or down, the bras undergo many rounds of test wearing and feedback, with adjustments made along the way.

“We'd never release something we aren't happy with 100%, so it takes time.”
