Myer and Grand Central have announced a new longer term lease for the Myer Toowoomba store, alongside unveiling a new refurbishment.
Myer store manager Fiona Trevitt officially reopened the refurbished store on September 3.
“Our Toowoomba team were so excited to officially open our refurbished store to the community – it looks amazing and the response already from customers has been so positive," she said.
"It really showcases our brands and extensive offering in the best possible way - in a modern, fresh and bright new layout.
"The improvements include new lighting, flooring, fixtures as well as the removal of many existing walls to open up the store, improved change rooms and entrance upgrade works, ensuring an even better experience for our loyal customers."
To celebrate, Myer will activate three weeks of festivities including flower bouquet pop-ups and complimentary coffee and food stands.
“There are so many fun activities planned over the coming weeks to celebrate the official reopening with our customers and we encourage them to come and visit - we can’t wait to show them through the store and for them to see, first-hand, some of the fantastic new brands we have on offer," Trevitt said.
“It has been great to officially open the refurbished store which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to our loyal customers and the Toowoomba community.”
The refurbishment includes new lighting, flooring, fixtures as well as the removal of many existing walls to open up the store, improved change rooms and entrance upgrade works, ensuring an even better customer experience.
Myer originally opened in Toowoomba in 1962, moving to Grand Central in 1996.
A number of new brands have been added to the store including Tommy Hilfiger watches, Dr Martens, Billabong, Bendon, Calvin Klein sleepwear, Puma and Adidas Curve.
