Mosaic Brands has reported an improvement in trade for the start of FY23, with sales up 64% on the previous corresponding period.

Mosaic Brands owns and operates ten retail clothing brands including Katies and Millers, sold through its network of circa 920 stores and its online digital department platforms.

For the first time in three years, the Group has traded in the last quarter unimpeded by the impact of COVID.

The growth was driven by the continued return of in-store customers delivering in-store comp sales of 22% against PCP.

The first quarter sales results, through to September 30, exclude EziBuy. 

The recently acquired EziBuy brand has seen a 42% drop in YTD sales.

Mosaic Brands confirmed it will apply its digital strategy to EziBuy over FY23.
