Womenswear brand Clea has signed on international luxury etailer Moda Operandi as a new international stockist.
Founder Natasha Gordon launched the brand a year ago, with a background in fashion design at Alexander McQueen in London.
Clea will launch its latest collection ‘Impressions’ through Moda Operandi, and through Australian department store David Jones as well as international heavyweights including Matches (UK), Bloomingdales (UAE), Vindue (Germany) and Ounass (Dubai).
According to Clea, its new collection takes inspiration from the romantic artworks of Mary Stevenson Cassatt.
It includes cotton blouses, brocade bustiers and corseted tops, with colourways including nutmeg, sesame, and white, and layers of cotton candy pink and bluebell.
Gordon describes ‘Impressions’ as a “seamless combination of nostalgia and modernity, showcasing sharp tailoring against feminine silhouettes and rich textures contrasted by smooth, undulating lines.”
Moda Operandi currently stocks Australian brands such as Zimmermann, Aje and Christopher Esber. Based in New York, the brand reaches a global audience across 125 countries.
