American fashion brand Michael Kors has just re-opened its newly renovated lifestyle store at the Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne.
The store’s revamp follows the brand’s focus on pared-down luxury and “sophisticated glamour.”
The 2,700-square-foot (~250 sqm) store will carry a curated selection of Michael Kors fashion and accessories, including handbags, ready-to-wear, small leather goods and footwear, as well as watches, fragrances, jewellery and eyewear.
Interior design elements of the store include new textured plaster walls, glossed black and white marble, brushed nickel fixtures, new concrete flooring and a wooden ceiling.
Bespoke furniture from local designers will be featured in the store’s entryway and footwear area.
The store will also house a new feature wall with a floor-to-ceiling video display as the store’s visual focal point, while étagères (shelves) provide display space along the store’s perimeter walls.
To celebrate the opening of the new store, the brand will host a series of activations from March 14 to 16 including influencer partnerships, exclusive styling sessions with celebrity stylist Elliot Garnaut and an Ibiza-inspired smoothie bar pop-up.
The luxury brand manages nine stores across Australia, and two in Auckland, New Zealand.
