Michael Hill has donated $155,000 to Dress for Success, with a broader program in place to support over 100,000 women by 2030.  

From March 1, 2022, Michael Hill pledged to donate $15 for every purchase of its Cultured Freshwater Pearl Stud Earrings (RRP $25) to Dress for Success affiliates in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Adding to the donation, the entire team at the Michael Hill support office volunteered for Dress for Success in Brisbane, committing to 140 volunteering placements and 560 hours of time throughout 2022. 

Michael Hill has pledged to deliver initiatives and develop partnerships focused on empowering and supporting over 100,000 women by 2030. It also maintains a 100% gender balance in the Michael Hill executive leadership team reporting to the CEO.

Michael Hill CEO Daniel Bracken said the $155,000 donation to Dress for Success can help an estimated 775 women in need through AU, NZ, and Canada.

“It’s thanks to our team, our customers and our community that we have been able to donate an incredible amount towards such an important cause – so a sincere thank you to everyone who contributed," Bracken said.

Dress for Success' aim is to empower women in achieving economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and developmental tools. Since launching in 1997, there are now affiliates in 144 cities across 22 countries who have supported more than 1.2 million women work towards self-sufficiency.
