Australian jewellery brand Michael Hill has announced the launch of a new bridal campaign.
Featuring the INXS’ song Never Tear Us Apart, the campaign will be featured through film, exploring the relationship of Sir Michael and Lady Christine Hill, the founders of Michael Hill.
Shot in New Zealand, the film begins with the couple’s first meeting in 1964, then to their wedding, and the opening of their very first Michael Hill store in 1979.
“Telling the story of Sir Michael and Lady Christine Hill’s love and creative partnership, and how they brought their ambition to life, is significant, because this story is the foundation of the Michael Hill brand,” Michael Hill CMO Jo Feeney said.
“We are showcasing the care, craft and passion behind the jewellery we sell. That passion and expertise continues within our business today, from our design team to our artisans, who continue to evolve and elevate the jewellery we create.”
The new campaign comes as Michael Hill became the first major jeweller in Australia and New Zealand to be Accredited Retailer for Certified Sustainable Laboratory-Created Diamonds.
This means the laboratory-created diamonds available at Michael Hill are certified under the SCS 007 Jewelery Sustainability Standard.
The certification includes diamond origin traceability assurance, climate neutrality and a heightened level of transparency around environmental and social responsibility.
In line with the campaign, Michael Hill offers a range of bridal jewellery - from engagement rings to wedding bands.
The range includes Bridal Collections, uniquely designed with specific styles and hidden details. Collections include: Sir Michael Hill Designer Bridal, Fenix Created Diamonds for Michael Hill, The Solitaire by Michael Hill, Southern Star, and Evermore.
The Michael Hill Bridal Collections are available in-store and online.
