Michael Hill has unveiled a new flagship store in Brisbane alongside celebrations of its 40th anniversary.
Located in the Queen Street shopping precinct, the store is the brand's 165th in Australia and sets a new standard for the brand moving forward.
The four-level 175sqm store features lighter tones from the Michael Hill brand colours and incorporates furnishings into a showroom atmosphere. The store has been designed to encourage browsing and a customer-centric shopping experience.
Michael Hill CEO Daniel Bracken said that Brisbane holds significance for the Michael Hill brand.
"When Michael Hill first expanded into Australia, back in 1987 with the first four stores located in Brisbane, it marked the beginning of the company’s widespread expansion and growth beyond New Zealand.
"Brisbane has a special place in the heart and history of our business.
"As a city that has always been supportive and instrumental to Michael Hill’s growth, we are proud to launch our first new design flagship and global concept store in Brisbane," he said.
Brides-to-be will be treated to a premium experience in the Queen Street store with an entire floor dedicated to showcasing the full bridal collection.
Michael Hill VIP customers will also experience unique events in the store in a dedicated room made for hosting private VIP experiences.
