Michael Hill has added another digital tool to its website to help consumers shop the range at home.
The jeweller has added a virtual Ring Builder function within its engagement ring segment to help shoppers customise their ring with different settings, metals and diamonds.
"An engagement ring or wedding band can seem like a big investment right now, however, many of Michael Hill’s rings are crafted with carefully placed diamond clusters, creating a ring that is not only beautiful, but affordable too," Michael Hill buyer and bridal expert Emily Vukovac said.
The addition of the Ring Builder follows Michael's Hill's consistent investment into digital offerings during the pandemic which includes a Virtual Ring Try-On feature - which 22,000 customers have used - and virtual appointments.
When it comes to engagement ring trends, Vukovac added that three types of bridal looks are proving popular - Modern Minimalist, Princess Bride and Bohemian Romantic.
"The Modern Minimalist bride is looking for a contemporary ring with clean lines and bold details while the Princess Bride is likely drawn to a wedding dress that is opulent, with royal influence.
"Meanwhile, the Bohemian Romantic bride prefers the unconventional and this extends to their bridal jewellery opting for a ring style that is alternative or eclectic," she said.
