Kathmandu has appointed a new GM of product, Robert Fry.
Fry has joined the business in Christchurch and will lead the teams responsible for product creation and delivery.
He will help to drive strategic transformation for the business, align global business units on growth initiatives and collaborate in setting seasonal initiatives, revenue and profit goals with cross-functional partners.
Fry's appointment comes as the outdoor apparel business continues its innovation mission, having appointed its first-ever chief customer officer, Eva Barrett, last year.
Speaking on his appointment, Fry said he was excited to reveal what he's been working on with the business.
"Very excited to finally start sharing some of the innovative product we’ve been working on at Kathmandu," he posted to LinkedIn.
Fry joins the business with over 15 years of global outdoor experience, having previously served at The North Face and Mountain Hardware.
