Max Mara takes flight
Luxury Italian fashion hosue Max Mara has secured a tenancy at Sydney Airport's T1 International precinct.
The retailer joins a line up of 13 global designer brands that are set to open at the terminal this year including Tiffany & Co., Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors and Tumi.
The opening is part of a major rejuvination of the T1 shopping precinct which will span 1,900sqm of retail space and aim to deliver an enhanced experience for passengers.
Sydney Airport general manager retail Glyn Williams has welcomed the addition of Max Mara to its retail portfolio.
“We’re excited to welcome Max Mara to the T1 luxury precinct.
“The brand is perfectly positioned within our designer mix, elevating the shopping experience for international passengers departing Sydney Airport.”
The Max Mara store has been fitted out to reflect its global vision including features such as marble floors with wood and platinum finishes.
A large area of the store will be devoted to selling accessories and travel pieces like wallets, jewellery, scarves and eyewear.
