Australian leather goods label Maison de Sabré has secured a five-week residency at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship in New York City.

Launching on Friday, March 28, the full boutique pop-up will be situated on the department store’s ultra-luxury Level One, adjacent Louis Vuitton.

“To be positioned alongside one of the most recognised luxury houses in the world is a testament to how far we’ve come,” Maison de Sabré co-founder and creative director  Omar Sabré said.

“Our residency at Bloomingdale’s not only anchors us in a globally significant retail environment — it reinforces our vision of disrupting the luxury space by building a brand that’s design-first, digitally native, and driven by community.”

While the full range is available in-store, the centrepiece of the Bloomingdale’s residency is the leather brand’s bag charms.

According to the leather brand, its bag charms are a booming category, with drops that consistently sell out within hours. This includes over $1 million in revenue within the first 24 hours of its Hello Kitty collaboration.

The Bloomingdale’s residency is the latest in a series of physical activations, following successful pop-ups in Tokyo and Paris.

In May, Maison de Sabré will launch a month-long pop-up at Rinascente Milano, a luxury department store in Italy.

“We’re not following a conventional retail model — we’re building a brand with cultural weight and staying power,” fellow co-founder Zane Sabré said.

“Our approach is about placing ourselves in the most influential retail environments in the world and creating high-impact, high-touch experiences. From New York to Milan, these residencies are designed to not only drive global visibility, but to forge deeper emotional connections with our customers in every market.”

Maison de Sabré’s  Bloomingdale’s pop-up will open from March 28 to Saturday, May 3, trading every Thursday through Sunday across the residency.
