Lululemon has vowed to launch an independent investigation into claims factory workers have been abused.
The allegations, published in a story by The Guardian, claimed female workers at supplier Youngone faced regular harrassment.
The report claims that Youngone's workers only earn about 9,100 taka ($107) a month, which is well below the national average of about 13,200 taka ($156).
When contacted by ragtrader.com.au, a lululemon spokesperson said the claims would be investigated.
"We take these allegations very seriously and we are committed to a full, independent investigation.
"Members of lululemon’s social responsibility and production team visited the factory in Bangladesh immediately to speak with workers and learn more.
"We will work with an independent non-profit third party to fully investigate the matter.
"While our production at this factory is extremely limited, we will ensure workers are protected from any form of abuse and are treated fairly."
