Lululemon Athletica Inc. has opened the doors to its largest flagship store across Australia and New Zealand, opening in the Emporium Melbourne.

More than triple the size of its previous Emporium location, the Melbourne flagship spans over 11,000 square feet (~1,020 square metres). 

The store opened over the weekend on October 19 and includes a significantly larger menswear section, along with a large assortment from Lululemon’s core womenswear and accessories range. 

It also offers guests a dedicated footwear space, following the launch of its footwear range to the Australian market in February. 

The new store will also feature a new personalisation station and an in-store repairs program. Guests will have the opportunity to customise Lululemon drink bottles with laser engravings of their names and symbols and they can access complimentary repairs on their products. 

“The new Emporium flagship marks a significant milestone in our strategic expansion, allowing us to bring our unique retail experience to a prime Melbourne location that serves a broader guest base,” Lululemon ANZ vice president Paul Tinkler said. 

“It’s a testament to our dedication to delivering exceptional service and a tailored shopping experience, highlighting our continued growth and unwavering commitment to the Australian market.” 

The refreshed Emporium flagship marks Lululemon’s ninth project for the year in Australia and New Zealand.

Earlier this year, the brand opened new locations in key retail spots Chadstone, Geelong and Sorrento, with each doubling in size. 

Lululemon's current footprint across Australia includes 38 stores, with 12 locations in Victoria.
