Lululemon Australia & New Zealand has appointed Melbourne Football Club captain Max Gawn as its newest ambassador.
The new two-year partnership forms part of Lululemon's strategy to grow its men's business and reinforce the brand’s product technical credibility and expertise in supporting high performance and elite training.
The partnership is the latest move from the brand to strengthen the men's offering, following on from the announcement of a three-year partnership with men's health charity, Movember.
According to Lululemon ANZ MD Paul Tinkler, Gawn's values and leadership style were key reasons as to why he was selected to represent the brand.
"Max’s journey and his approach to leadership is inspiring to so many, so we are thrilled to welcome him to the Lululemon family as an ambassador.
"Like all of our ambassadors, Max embodies our brand values and is already creating impact in the community, so we are excited to support him in this, bring his story to life and inspire others along the way," he said.
The official partnership between Gawn and Lululemon has been flagged as a 'natural progression' and complements the existing relationship which was formed over 12 months ago.
Lululemon stated that it is excited by the prospect of Gawn’s positive influence on their guest community, and the new relationships that will evolve with him as an ambassador.
The duo are set to work together to elevate communities through mindfulness, movement and leadership.
Gawn welcomed the partnership.
