Australian sportswear brand LSKD will open a new retail store at Queensland’s Sunshine Plaza on March 30, two years on since initiating its bricks-and-mortar strategy.
The 150 square metre store will sell both exclusive products and core styles and accessories across men’s, women’s and unisex categories. The store will also feature an external manifesto wall, a local community board, a bra and legging wall, and light box displays.
"I am pumped for our first store opening of the year to be at Sunshine Plaza,” LSKD founder and CEO Jason Daniel said. “Having spent significant time in this area growing up racing motocross, it's great to come back and localise with their fitness community."
The new store will bring LSKD’s total store count in Australia to 10, in addition to a standalone store opened last year in San Diego, California. The Sand Diego store also acts as the brand's US headquarters.
LSKD will host a grand opening event for its new Queensland store from 8:30am on March 30. This will see the return of its swap deal tradition, where customers can bring in any pair of tights or shorts for a new LSKD pair.
The sportswear brand will recycle or re-use the donated items in collaboration with Upparel.
