Australian athleticwear brand LSKD is preparing to open its first-ever store in Canberra this weekend.
The new store follows the brand’s recent debut in New Zealand, and adds to 19 stores in the Australian market – including upcoming openings in Kotara, NSW, Northpoint Victoria, and Highpoint, Victoria.
LSKD manages two stores in New Zealand, and also owns and operates a store in San Diego, California in the United States.
"We’ve had an epic response from our community across Australia and New Zealand, and opening a store in Canberra has been on our radar for a while,” LSKD founder and CEO Jason Daniel said.
“We’ve been out here sweating and meeting the community in the lead-up to this opening - we're so pumped to open the doors and give the Canberra community their own LSKD hub."
The Canberra store will feature LSKD’s core range of sportswear, from training and running essentials to street-inspired everyday wear.
As part of the opening day, with doors opening at 8:30am on March 22, the brand will host exclusive events, including its tights and shorts swap initiative which has occurred at other store launches, where shoppers can trade in their old activewear for a fresh LSKD pair.
The brand will also feature limited-edition Canberra-exclusive merchandise, and giveaways.
LSKD was founded in 2002 by Daniel, originally as Loose Kid Industries. The brand now sells globally, and has reportedly exceeded $100 million in annual sales.
