Accessories retailer Lovisa has lost its chief executive Steve Doyle.

Doyle has resigned from the retail chain, with the CFO Graeme Fallett leaving last September.

Doyle joined the group in 2015 and has left the group to pursue other interests, according to Lovisa.

Lovisa has assured shareholders the move was not performance-related with total sales reportedly up 20.3% since December.

The chain operates 320 stores, with same-store sales also growing 7.6% in the 13 weeks since September.

Lovisa founder and MD Shane Fallscheer will run the business after Doyle's departure on April 20.
