Swiss watch brand Longines has officially opened its first boutique in Perth’s central business district.

The store is situated on the corner of Williams Street and Murray Street, at the west end of the main shopping lane.

The 139 square metre space marks the brand’s sixth boutique to open in Australia, and features a concierge bar inspired by aviation design, with a curved edge to resemble a plane wing.

Behind the concierge bar, the boutique houses a dedicated Watchmaker Bar. It also showcases a signature wall that pays homage to equestrian sports, with a quilted diamond pattern and new obscuro textile in navy blue with shades of silver.

Longines CEO Matthias Breschan welcomed the new store, calling it an important new chapter for the brand’s evolution.

“Longines is thrilled to continue growing our retail presence within the Australian market,” Berschan said. “Our new Perth boutique illustrates our commitment to innovation and represents an important milestone in the brand‘s development, marking our first corporate boutique in Western Australia.

“We are proud to offer our Australian customers the opportunity to discover the unique and elegant world of Longines, the brand's rich heritage and its vast range of timepieces, in a tailor-made space staffed by qualified advisers.

“We place great importance on creating a bespoke environment to ensure that each visit is an unforgettable experience.”

Alongside Perth, Longines has two stores in Melbourne, with three other stores in Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane CBD. It also has 35 stockists across Australia.
