French luxury retailer Longchamp has launched a new store concept in Brisbane City, bringing the total owned store count for the brand to four - with one in Sydney and two in Melbourne.
The new concept is a first for Australia, and also marks the brand’s first owned boutique venture in Queensland.
The new boutique is said to recreate the look of a Parisian apartment. The welcome area contains bookshelf-like displays of the brand’s key pieces, with a lounge area featuring vintage-style furniture, rugs, and chairs.
Art within the space has been attained through local markets or specially commissioned by Longchamp.
"We are delighted to bring Longchamp's new boutique concept to Australia and to share the warmth, creativity, and cosmopolitan mindset of a Parisian apartment with our customers in Brisbane," Longchamp AU NZ GM Julie Therond.
"We hope they will feel at home and inspired by the curated selection of leather goods, accessories, and lifestyle objects that reflect our values and passion for craftsmanship."
The new Brisbane City boutique is located in the Tattersalls Arcade on Queen Street.
Longchamp said it would like to expand the new store concept worldwide.
