A leading global fashion etailer is set to make its services even more accessible to Australian consumers.
Shopbop, which stocks an array of Australian designers, has confirmed the launch of its new iPhone application. The app is now available from Apple iTunes stores internationally.
The company said the innovative app has been created to further enhance Shopbop’s “already existing mobile experience, making it easier and more convenient than ever”.
The new app features a new-look design in addition to product images and a user-friendly tool for women to quickly find and purchase fashion items.
Key highlights include:
-
Streamlined and convenient usability such as a simplified check out experience with reduced data entry for quick purchasing on the go.
-
Modern and clean design, featuring 1.5x product zoom compared to 1x zoom on the desktop.
-
Advanced filtering and sorting options, including filtering by price range and sorting by low to high price to further simplify the process by how she prefers to shop.
-
Personalisation features are carried over from the desktop experience, including 'My Hearts', 'My Wish List' and 'My Designers'; push notifications bring customised updates on low inventory alerts, sales and more right to the customers’ fingertips.
Shopbop president Jeff Yurcisin said the app is another step in the right direction for the company, which has been steadily increasing its global reach since launch in 2000.
“Shopbop is committed to always improving and evolving our site experience, whether it’s on a desktop or mobile device, and ensuring we offer the best in product, usability and customer service wherever she is,” he said.
Shopbop stocks local labels such as Bless’ed Are The Meek and Friend of Mine, in addition to brands including Zimmerman, Ellery and Sass & Bide.
