Levi's Australia has welcomed the second collaboration collection with New Balance.
Last season, Levi’s and New Balance teamed up to celebrate their beginnings.
Now, for spring/summer 2020, they’ve again come together, this time to celebrate the icons of the next generation.
Combining signature styles from both brands, the collection features the New Balance 327, three reversible padded Levi's Trucker Jacket and a co-branded graphic t-shirt.
Levi Strauss Australia and New Zealand head of marketing Trent Bos said that the business is thrilled to collaborate with another heritage brand.
"We’re constantly inspired by our heritage as we look to the future, and that’s why we’re so excited to collaborate with New Balance - it’s an opportunity to give our classics some modern momentum.
"While last season’s collab celebrated our beginnings, the Levi’s x New Balance spring/summer 2020 collection is all about looking to the icons of the next generation.
"From reversible Levi’s Trucker jackets to retro-meets-modern iterations of the New Balance 327, this collaboration weaves patchwork denim and amped-up iconography together into something both classic and utterly contemporary.
"We’re so proud to create a collection that celebrates heritage, a pioneering spirit and our culture today," he said.
The Levi’s x New Balance 327 is a reinterpretation of the 320 - the original New Balance running shoe - and is a mix of retro 1970s styling and asymmetrical design.
Available in two colorways for men and one colorway for women, the 327 features a ‘70s style waffle sole with a contemporary oversized New Balance 'N' on the side.
Meanwhile, each of the reversible padded Trucker Jackets in the collection feature a classic denim Levi’s side, and a quilted New Balance side.
The collection is available now and retails for between $59.95-$199.95.
