LA-based fashion label Cider has officially launched in Australia.
The brand offers a range of fashion and accessories, including dresses, tops, bottoms, jewellery, shoes, bags and a Curve & Plus section to cater to all shapes and sizes.
Since launching the brand in September 2020, co-founders Fenco Lin and Yu Oppel said Cider has experienced organic growth in Australia.
“Being one of the fastest-growing fashion brands today, we have been available to shop in Australia for a while but did not have the brand recognition within the country,” Lin and Oppel said.
“In working with ARC Factory, we are working to educate young, trendsetting Aussies that can relate to the brand’s diverse range of styles with sizes that include all body types.”
Cider primarily sells through eCommerce and targets the Gen Z market through accessible price points. It produces in-demand items through consumer preferences.
The fashion label has a community-driven business model, which seeks customer feedback and creatively involves them. Cider reportedly casts community members in campaigns, names clothes after them, and invites them to test new collections.
“In this new era of borderless digital connectivity, Gen-Zs throughout Australia share many micro-trends and cultural movements which are reflected in the #Cidergang,” Lin and Oppel said. “We hope to immerse the Cider brand in the seasonality and occasions on a local level that will, in result, build tailored content and navigation for the Australian market.
“We believe that our variety of styles, combined with a mood-driven approach and personalized shopping experience, really resonates with the Australian market.”
Cider sells to over 130 countries worldwide.
