John Lewis will manufacture and sell Australian sizing, as part of its newly minted agreement with Myer.
For this first time, John Lewis will sell national standard size bedding through an exclusive agreement with Myer and Myer online.
This is the UK department store's first major venture into the market, with homewares destinations to open from Christmas 2016.
Myer chief merchandise and customer officer Daniel Bracken welcomed John Lewis to the stable.
“We are excited to offer Myer customers the first exclusive opportunity in Australia to shop the John Lewis brand in a tailor made lifestyle concept, as well as shop the collection conveniently on the Myer website.
“The introduction of John Lewis homewares fits very well with our New Myer strategy to offer our customers desirable and wanted brands.
"John Lewis is widely recognised as the leading destination for homewares in the UK, and its own branded collections, are highly sought after for their stylish and innovative design, quality and accessibility.
"John Lewis is a trusted brand and their homewares collections have built up a very large and loyal following within the UK and internationally."
John Lewis head of international development Katie Jordan said this is an important new venture for the brand.

"There is a real synergy between Myer’s customer base and ours, and we believe they are the perfect partner for our first Australian shop-in-shops."
