Instagram has furthered its shopping capabilities, launching shopping in Reels globally. 

The launch follows the relocation of key features in the app to make the Reels and Shopping tabs more accessible to users. 

Now, shoppers can buy, save or learn more about tagged products in Reels.

When watching a Reel, users can tap on 'View Products' to see what is being showcased in the video and can click through to checkout.  

Mac Cosmetics, Revolve, Song of Style by Aimee Song, Rare Beauty, and NBA are some global brands already using the feature. 

Meanwhile, Instagram's own Shop tab is featuring shoppable Reels from emerging businesses such as handbag brand For the Ages and silk scarf brand Centinelle. 

According to Instagram's data, 130 million people tap to reveal product tags in shopping posts each month.
