Witchery and the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) have announced the Today Show's entertainment reporter Brooke Boney as an ambassador for the 2019 Witchery white shirt campaign.

Boney, who is a Gamilaroi Gomeroi woman and often writes about issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as well as her experience as an Aboriginal woman in Australia, said the campaign was something she was passionate about.

"The Witchery white shirt campaign is one that I have followed for many years and to be able to use my voice to support women all over the world is a privilege.

"I'm particularly passionate about this campaign, as cancer related illnesses are significantly more prevelant in indigenous communities.

"Any small role I can play to assist the OCRF in raising awareness and funds for this vital research is important to me."

2019 marks Witchery's eleventh annual White Shirt Campaign in partnership with the OCRF.

The white shirt campaign's mission is to raise much needed funds to support vital research endeavours to develop an early detection test for ovarian cancer as readily available and habitual as a pap smear or mammogram.

For every white shirt sold, Witchery will donate 100% of the gross proceeds to the OCRF.

The collection will be available to shop online and in Witchery stores in Australia and New Zealand from April 9 to May 8, 2019.
