Outland Denim has announced an equity crowdfunding campaign, allowing fans of the brand to invest in the business and receive shares.
Investments start at $250 with consumers and loyal shoppers able to invest and recieve shares in the humanitarian-focused brand.
The announcement follows the business' recent win of a Thomson Reuters Stop Slavery Award which recognises its efforts to stop slavery and human exploitation.
Outland Denim founding CEO James Bartle said that the crowdfunding campaign will allow the business to further its focus on people.
"From the very beginning we always wanted to be ‘the people's brand’.
"We could do things the traditional way in seeking out private investment.
"Or we could offer this incredible opportunity back to our customers and our community, who have been there building Outland Denim with us since day one," he said.
In its three years of operation, Outland Denim has opened e-commerce sites in Australia, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.
The brand is also stocked in Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and David Jones and has been worn by the likes of Meghan Markle and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The business has also invested in its own state-of-the-art wash and finishing facility, allowing it to have greater control over the environmental impact of its jeans.
Alongside employing seamstresses who have previously been exploited, Outland Denim also sources its raw materials from suppliers who excel in social and environmental responsibility.
Each button, rivet and stitch is carefully selected to minimise the impact on the environment and reduce the risk of exploitation in the supply chain.
Bartle said that the biggest opportunity for the business is using its practices and technologies to manufacture for other brands.
"As we look to expand both our denim brand and our manufacturing facilities, we expect the next season of growth to be rapid.
"Our biggest opportunity lies in using our facilities to manufacture for other brands. In fact, we have already had interest from multiple brands wanting to manufacture within our facilities.
"For us it's simple, the more we can grow, the more positive, life changing impact we can have," he said.
The crowdfunding campaign will run from April 01 - 24, with expressions of interest taking place from March 03 - 27.
