Melbourne-based label HoMie has teamed up with the Australian Football League (AFL) for a limited-edition knitwear collection.
The oversized, boxy-fit cotton knits cover all 18 AFL clubs in terms of colourways in a squiggle design.
“HoMie and the AFL both pride ourselves on community and connection, and this collaboration is no different,” HoMie co-founder and creative director Marcus Crook said. “100% of profits from the HoMie AFL Club Knits support our mission to combat homelessness.
“Our knits give fans the opportunity to wear their team with pride, knowing their purchase helps make a real difference.”
According to the HoMie team, the journey to this collaboration with the AFL started years ago, and follows on from HoMie’s core knit ranges.
A selection of the AFL range was officially debuted on the Block Party Runway at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival last week.
The AFL knit range is extremely limited. Once they’re gone, they’ll go straight onto pre-order, with product expected to ship in May according to HoMie.
The range will be sold online.
