Australian luxury fashion retailer Harrolds will open a new concept store at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne on October 11.
It marks the first new space by the fashion retailer in eight years.
The new location will be the second Harrolds store in Victoria since it moved to 101 Collins Street in 2005, alongside one men’s and one women’s store in Sydney CBD.
Harrolds sells local and international luxury men’s and womenswear brands. The new store will sell a curation of pieces from men’s, women’s and accessories labels such as Amiri, Thom Browne, Casablanca, Alexander Wang, Manolo Blahnick and Amija Muaddi.
“Opening the concept store in Melbourne’s renowned fashion destination was selected to position ourselves as the number one destination for luxury in Australia,” Harrolds managing director Ross Poulakis said. “We see this expansion as a significant opportunity to cater to the discerning people of Melbourne and the premium Chadstone shopper.
“Our premium shopper would normally have to shop these brands online rather than in store, so the expansion reaffirms our mission to provide access to the world’s most sought after designer brands.”
Poulakis said this is new territory for the brand as it aims to attract a younger audience through including new styles.
“Our decision to introduce trend-setting brands reflects our commitment to bridging the gap in the market, where discerning shoppers seek premium experiences.”
To celebrate the opening of the Chadstone store, Harrolds will offer $100 vouchers to the first 50 customers into the store, to be spent within the first month of launching.
Harrolds was born in 1985 in Melbourne.
