Harris Scarfe is set to expand its bricks-and-mortar footprint again, this time in Melbourne's north-west growth corridor.

The business will open two new stores in Craigieburn and Sunbury next Thursday, April 07.

The Harris Scarfe Home at Craigieburn Junction will provide customers with access to the retailer's brands across Manchester, electrical and homewares.

Meanwhile, the Harris Scarfe Sunbury store is the first full refurbishment of a Harris Scarfe store under the ownership of the Spotlight Group and will provide local shoppers with access to the existing line of homewares, apparel and fashion brands they’ve come to know.

Harris Scarfe CEO Graham Dean welcomed the opening of the new stores and flagged that further openings are on the cards.

"Expanding the Harris Scarfe footprint into Melbourne’s north-west demonstrates our commitment to providing even more of our customers greater access to quality brands and excellent prices across homewares and apparel, that our shoppers have come to know and love.

"The strategy and strong team we have in place in both Craigieburn and Sunbury as well as across Australia is continuing to bolster the brand’s success.

"Our latest Harris Scarfe store offering is a fantastic step for the business to continue this journey with plans of more stores to come," he said.

To celebrate the new store openings, Harris Scarfe will offer customers special deals, competitions and prizes on opening day, as well as free coffee and breakfast and DJ entertainment.

The stores will be opened by Harris Scarfe ambassadors Giaan Rooney and Jane Lamerton, with Rooney cutting the ribbon at Sunbury and Lamerton at Craigieburn.

Once opened, the Sunbury and Craigieburn stores will take Harris Scarfe's store count to more than 50 across Australia.

Harris Scarfe employs over 1300 staff across the country.
