Australian workwear brand Hard Yakka has teamed up with national renovation television show The Block for 2024.

All contestants for this year’s show will wear Hard Yakka clothing and footwear, including shorts, tees, ‘shackets’, polos and boots.

"Our products are engineered for Australia’s harshest conditions, whether it’s a construction site or a weekend adventure," Hard Yakka brand and content manager Kathryn Dawson-Lee said. "We’re excited to see our gear in action as the contestants work through these high-stakes renovations.

Dawson-Lee continued, "This isn’t just product placement; it’s about showing that when the going gets tough, you need gear that can keep up. We’re proud to offer workwear that’s not only functional but also built to last, proving once again that with Hard Yakka, Nothing’s Tougher."

Hard Yakka was born in 1930 and has since grown to a national wholesale brand, with stockists including Totally Workwear and a raft of smaller retailers.

The brand is managed by Wesfarmers Limited under its Workwear Group subsidiary, which also includes NNT, KingGee and Workwear Uniforms.

This year’s challenge for The Block contestants is to transform a rundown holiday park on Phillip Island into luxury family homes.
