The former chief executive under The Aje Collective umbrella, Stephanie Leathers, has been appointed as the new managing director of GHD for Australia and New Zealand.

Leathers has commenced her role this week, and succeeds Ludovic Dellazzeri who has been in the leading ANZ role for GHD for the last nine years.

The long-running fashion executive has held executive positions at The Aje Collective for the last several years, most recently as the CEO of Ikkari - Aje’s body care subsidiary.

Prior to this, she was the group chief operating officer of The Aje Collective, and GM of Aje and Aje Athletica.

Leathers has also held leading roles at Camilla Australia and Lorna Jane.

“We are thrilled to welcome Steph to the ghd family,” GHD APAC regional managing director  Ross Leibbrandt said. “Her leadership and deep industry experience make her the ideal person to take our ANZ business forward.

“We are confident she will continue to build on the incredible foundation laid by Ludovic and the team and take the brand to new heights.”

Leathers welcomed the new role.

“I am honoured to be joining GHD, a brand with a rich legacy of excellence and innovation, yet an even more exciting trajectory ahead. I am looking forward to driving GHD’s next chapter of success in the ANZ market.”

Leibbrandt also shared thanks to Dellazzeri for his contributions to the haircare brand in the AU/NZ market.

A transitional period has commenced between Dellazzeri and Leathers.
