European-born, global denim brand G-Star Raw is returning to the Oceania market, including Australia, after signing a deal with Good Products & Co.
Good Products & Co is also the local distributing partner of footwear brand Sebago.
According to the denim brand, it’s Oceania return comes after significant global growth alongside a renewed vision to help engage a younger audience.
The comeback is being complemented with a new collection that are re-interpretations of classic G-Star pieces.
The brand has also partnered with cultural icons including Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg, Burna Boy and Cara Delevingne.
The local push will be driven by wholesale growth and owned retail stores in 2025, which includes being stocked at David Jones, The Icoic, Glue Store and Culture Kings.
“With G-STAR’s global momentum, now is the perfect time to return to the Oceania market and re-establish our presence,” Good Products & Co managing director Helder Borges.
“For nearly 40 years, G-STAR has redefined denim, pushing boundaries and challenging an industry rooted in tradition. We want to bring the rebellious spirit and bold vision for the future to the Oceania consumer.”
G-Star Raw CEO Rob Schilder said he and the team are looking forward to reconnecting with is Australian customers – one of the first markets to buy into the brand when it initially expanded globally.

The return of G-Star comes after the brand pulled out of Australia in late 2020 after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States. This led to the closure of all its channels in Australia, including over 50 stores.
