Former Lovisa CEO Shane Fallscheer has wrapped up 2024 by opening around 20 stores for his freshly launched affordable jewellery business Harli + Harpa.

Fallscheer confirmed the news on LinkedIn, adding that an owned website forms part of the 20-store rollout. According to the Harli + Harpa website, the total store count, including the website, is 19.

“I couldn’t be prouder of our incredible team who’ve brought this vision to life and made it all possible,” Fallscheer wrote. “From the first spark of inspiration to this moment, your creativity, hard work and enthusiasm have made this dream a reality for our customers.

“This is just the beginning— we are excited for what’s to come and the journey ahead for all involved.”

It comes just over three years since Fallscheer stepped down from his post at Lovisa, handing over the CEO role to Victor Herrero in 2021. Herrero is expected to step down from the role in June 2025, handing over the position to John Cheston who was unceremoniously sacked from his managing director role at Smiggle amid “serious misconduct”.

According to Harli + Harpa on LinkedIn, the jewellery brand currently has somewhere between 51 and 200 employees. This includes Cass Fuller who has been leading the business as CEO since September 2024. Fuller holds over 13 years of senior leadership experience, most recently as the global director of HSBC.

She has also been a director at property firm CBRE and workplace business Knotel.

Fuller is also a former employee of Lovisa, where she was property and project manager from 2011 to 2013.

As for the new stores, they are all spread across Australia according to the Harli + Harpa website, with five in Melbourne, five in Sydney, four in Brisbane, one in Cairns, one in Adelaide and two in Perth.

The brand sells an array of jewellery at double and low-triple-digit prices, slightly similar to Lovisa prices.
