Former Brand Collective CEO Eric Morris has secured another new role as a non-executive director on the board of e-commerce solutions provider eStar Online.
It comes after Morris secured an advisory role with delivery provider Deliver In Person late last year.
Morris had been with Brand Collective for 18 years, initially founded by him as The PAS Group under private equity, which was then listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2014.
In March 2022, PAS Group merged with Brand Collective, becoming Australia’s third-largest retail fashion group. At that time, Morris took on the CEO role for the combined group.
Before the PAS Group, Eric was general manager of private brands at Myer and held director-level roles with Walt Disney Company and Reebok International.
Following his exit as CEO, Morris has taken on a formal and advisory role for Brand Collective, and has established an advisory group Albany Advisory.
"I am delighted to be part of the eStar family and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead,” Morris said. “eStar has established itself as a key player in the digital commerce industry, and I am eager to contribute to its growth and success.
“As we navigate this ever-evolving landscape, I am committed to leveraging my experience to help eStar and Viare achieve their strategic objectives.”
eStar chair Al Monro said Morris’ diverse skill set, leadership capabilities and retail insights landed him the role.
“His appointment comes at a crucial time for the company, and we are confident that his expertise will significantly contribute to our continued success and growth, particularly in the Australian market.”
