Fashion executive Elle Roseby has stepped down from her position as managing director of Country Road and Trenery.
A Country Road Group spokesperson confirmed the news with Ragtrader.
“After six years with Country Road Group, Elle Roseby has resigned to explore other opportunities,” the spokesperson said. “During her tenure, she has focused on building enduring partnerships with our suppliers, established our presence as a market-leading brand, and built our credentials as an industry leader in sustainability.
“We thank Elle for her substantial contribution to our business and wish her the best for her future endeavours.”
Roseby began her fashion retail career with Myer in the late 1980s, starting as an allocator in men’s jeans, working her way up to woven sportswear and dress buyer, and co-leader of Miss Shop in the 1990s.
From 1997 to 2013, she was the CEO of Sportsgirl, and then moved to Supre as general manager from 2014 to 2018.
Roseby then signed on as the managing director of Country Road under the Country Road Group, with the position extending to Trenery in 2022.
