Australian designer label Elka Collective is expanding into new product categories and retail locations, following its acquisition by LK Group in 2022.

Elka Collective operates under Brand Collective, a subsidiary of LK Group which also owns brands such as Review, Black Pepper and Hommey.

Elka Collective has introduced new categories since the acquisition, expanding production to include more than 300 styles per year.

The new offerings include footwear and accessories, with footwear styles priced between $249 and $229 and accessories such as bags and jewellery priced between $220 and $229.  

Elka Collective has also extended its soft tailoring and dress lines, introducing organic cotton as well as introduced organic cotton to its luxury basics category.

The product launches have coincided with a national retail rollout, commencing with the launch of an inaugural NSW store in Mosman late last year. Since then, Elk Collective has expanded its retail footprint in Sydney with a pop-up store in Bondi, and a boutique in the heritage-listed Queen Victoria Building.

The second half of 2023 will see new boutique openings in Albert Park (VIC), and Claremont (WA). Elka Collective has also expanded its David Jones concessions with new locations to be unveiled in Doncaster (VIC), Macquarie (NSW), Brisbane CBD, and Rundle Mall Adelaide by September 2023.

By October, Elka Collective will have 13 retail destinations comprising six stand-alone boutiques and seven David Jones concepts nationally.The brand also has a wholesale arm through local boutiques across Australia and is sold via The Iconic.

Elka founder and designer Courtney Price said further openings are planned for 2024.
